I am a Tupelo native, although I lived in Mesquite, Tx., briefly, in the mid-80's.
I began as a part-timer on KZ103 in 1987, at the age of 18. Boy - it seems like a lifetime ago! I've spent my entire 22 year radio career with KZ103! I've worked just about every shift on the station. I started out on overnights, progressed to nights, afternoons, mornings (running kidd Kraddick) and now, I do middays (10am until 3pm).
I married my husband, Johnny, in Oct. of 2005.
Join me weekdays on KZ103 from 10am until 3pm for plenty of today's best music!
We also have the best of the 80's & 90's every weekday from Noon until 1 o'clock with the Flashback Lunch, brought to you by Coca-Cola, McDonalds and WKDH, North Mississippi's ABC! We even have goodies for you to win with the Flashback Challenge!

Normally, I'm not all that interested in the documentary awards given at the Oscars. But things got a little interesting during one winner's acceptance speeech. His former collaborator rushed onstage and took over the mic while he was talking. They two have been in a feud and this action didn't help the situation! You can tell he's trying his best to be gracious and keep smiling through it!
This week is "Celebrate Your Name Week!" So, I did a little research to find out what my name means. Turns out, it's derived from a word that means "little boy!" Great.

Oh gees... my husband was doing some stuff in our backyard yesterday morning and found a SNAKE! He's been telling me forever that snakes NEVER come out in cold weather. Now, he's lost that argument. Trust me when I say, this is an argument I really didn't want to win! Needless to say, the snake is history...but now I am worried about his family. If there's one, there's bound to be more!
Agh!!!!
